The Strategic plan roadmap illustrates the strategic direction for the “First things First” for any business activity. The framework decides the vision and mission of the business leading it to the desired outcomes of the system in the long run. With the same view, a workshop was organized to decide the future course of action for the Protected Cultivated Division on 9th February, 2012 at Vadodara, Gujarat. The event had the presence of Mr Randhir Chauhan (MD, Netafim India), Ms. Rachel Shaul (Marketing Director),Mr. Natan Barak (Marketing Director -Emerging Markets), Mr. Omri Eiger (Head- Corporate Green House Division) ,Mr. Niv Dardik- GH Manager ( GBU India and Latin America) Mr. Dubi Raz- Chief Agronomist (Emerging Markets) and All the Team Leaders from SBUs and departments.
Protected crops segment has seen a surge in India in recent past and offers a huge potential to explore the opportunity. Hence NETAFIM, as a global key player in protected cultivation sought this as a right time to prepare a Roadmap. Such an exercise was first of its kind in Netafim since earlier roadmaps have been made for countries and not for a particular segment of business as such. This very fact high indicates the importance of this event and how the Netafim Corporate looks at this business segment.
The Roadmap Coach – Mr. Natan Barak explained the process to all present at the event. Presentations by Key persons threw light on the global and domestic scenario of this segment. The launch also included activity based brain storming session on the segment.
The roadmap will be prepared by the Road Map Leader with the guidance of the Coach and support from all Team Leaders with a time frame of 20 weeks from the date of launch
